Tell us a bit about yourself!
I'm 34, and from Kyiv, Ukraine. I'm freelance translator, as I have master's degree with honor in translation in English, (also I learnt German, Spanish languages). I was also teaching English for some while in private language school in small groups for adults and children and individually and also tutoring.
What is your relationship with yoga, how did you get into it?
I have been started doing it since 7 years ago, (I have some problems with my lungs), and it helped me very much, than it became my lifestyle. I tested on myself different techniques and I learnt in many instructors, and practiced lot, and I noticed also this positive effect on my students since I've been teaching from last year. And I'm enjoying it so much.
What do you hope the participants experience from your yoga class at the kvinnehelsehus?
Yoga gives energy and relaxation after practice. I use also meditative techniques after physical exercises, we do breathing practices, stretching as well, and students receive all of these after regular trainings, and piece together with harmony as well.
I'll be glad to teach students on the Kvinnehelsehus and share my experience to others with a great pleasure.
How does the future look like for Oksana?
I see my future with yoga, and translations on flexible time as well. Besides, I like painting on canvas and drawing pictures, and maybe in future I engage somehow with my hobby also. And the most important thing I forgot to mention, about how I see my future..Firstly, I need to start with learning Norwegian course.
